Scope of surgical treatment:

• Hip joint: hip joint arthroscopy (no joint replacement)
• Knee joint: all interventions including endoprosthetics (i.e. meniscus and cartilage surgery (all common procedures), cruciate ligament replacement (anterior and posterior), patella problems, varus and valgus deformities, i.e. correction osteotomies, partial replacement (medial and lateral unicompartmental prosthesis), and total replacement of the knee joint)
• Ankle joint: arthroscopic therapy of cartilage and ligament injuries, arthrosis treatment (without joint replacement), tendon and muscle injuries (quadriceps tendon, patellar tendon, Achilles tendon, muscle rupture)

Scope of conservative treatment:

• All sports orthopaedic and sports traumatological issues such as the assessment of fitness for doing sports in general, but also after injuries to the musculoskeletal system in particular
• Sports-related orthopaedic problems of children and youths
• Sports-related orthopaedic problems and issues after joint replacement
• Advising of both high-performance athletes and competitive and leisure athletes
