The medical objective of our practice at the ATOS Clinic is the specialisation in the treatment of  injuries and diseases of the hip, knee and foot in adults and children. This also includes therapy of sports injuries of leisure and competitive athletes, sequelae of injuries, and arthrosis.

Over 17,000 inpatient surgical interventions at the knee and the foot, among them 4,500 cruciate ligament surgeries and 2,200 endoprostheses, demonstrate the most comprehensive surgical experience guaranteeing the highest degree of precision and patient satisfaction.

Surgical therapies of the hip joint:

  • Arthroscopy of the hip joint
  • Arthroscopic and open treatment of femoroacetabular impingement (FAI)
  • Cartilage surgery (specialised in minimally invasive cartilage therapy up to arthroscopic cartilage cell transplantation)
  • Pelvis reconstruction (periacetabular osteotomy, Ganz osteotomy)
  • Open hip reconstruction (surgical hip joint luxation)
  • Correction of leg axis (in case of defective position and osteoarthritis)
  • Arthroplasty of the hip (surface replacement, short shaft, standard shaft)
